To extend the life of your Chimes it is suggested that the wood has wood wax or lemon oil applied periodically to prolong the life of the chime and protect the wood from the weather. Aluminium tubes may naturally pit or oxidize when placed outdoors, but the sound is not affected. The tubes and other noted parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap and water. Any brass elements can be cleaned with a brass cleaner.Chimes and gongs should be brought in during extreme weather or harsh winters.
